Sports Activity Mark the 43rd National Day on Campus
Sports Activities Section in the Student Affairs Department at Ajman University of Science & Technology organized sports activities to mark the 43rd UAE National Day. The activities included a billiard and a chess championship.
Throngs of students cheered as the teams and individuals competed against each other. Sets of two students competed for the titles in billiard and the first position as achieved by Adnan Mohammed, College of Media, Mass Communication and Humanities, the second place was attained by Mohammed Saeed, College of Media, Mass Communication and Humanities while the third place was secured by Islam Ahmed, College of Business Administration.
The university chess championship witnessed nail biting competition from the players. The first place was secured by Amr Nasser, College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, second place was achieved by Mohammed Eid, College of Dentistry and Mohammed Nasser from the College of Engineering secured the third position.
Captain Abdul Hamid Bakour, Sports Supervisor expressed his pride in the hard work and practice that the students put in to achieve such ranks in the sports arena. Dr. Abdul Haq Al Nuaimi, Director Student Affairs Department congratulated the players and teams and encouraged them to achieve at both regional and international levels.
