Ajman University takes part in the World Scout Jamboree "Jota Juti"

Student delegation from Ajman University of Science and Technology took part in the World Scout Jamboree on the 58 Air (JOTA ); The camp of the 19th World Scout on the Internet (JOTI ). It was held at the Office of Sharjah Scout camp over two consecutive days under the Patronage of His Excellency Abdullah Bilal Al Shamsi, Secretary General of the Association of the UAE Scouts and in the presence of His Excellency Nasser Obaid Al Shamsi, Vice President of the Assembly and the President of the Commission Scouts Sharjah. Nearly forty scout delegation and commanders from United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Morocco, Libya, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Djibouti , Albania, Croatia, Sultanate of Oman and Syria took part.
The main aim of the establishment of the scouts camps to strengthen the bonds of friendship between the world scouts and the development of their hobbies in the arena of communication, this provides an ideal opportunity for them to exchange experiences and expertise.
A seminar and open discussion was held regarding two main points, firstly, the intake of scouts in UAE and Secondly, the problems facing earth and its environment. The Emirates chapter witnessed a remarkable turnout by scouts specially the online (wireless) station of scouts which helps as a platform to exchange hobbies and useful techniques employed by the members.
Students Amr Dabsi, Emad Al Dababsa, yousuf Al Gazali and Aala Al Dababsa participated in this world Jamboree under the supervision of Mr. Salim Derbas, Students Supervisor at the Students Affairs Department.
