Ajman University Gallery Portrays “Life in Neon Colors”
Ajman University (AU) hosted “Life in Neon Colors” art exhibition celebrating the artistic excellence of Abdel Razek Ali Abdel Razek, member of AU’s Fine Arts Center and a student at the college of Humanities and Sciences.
Dr. Karim Seghir, Chancellor of AU; Dr. Khaled Assaleh, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs; Dr. Nahla Al Qasimi, Dean of Student Affairs and Dr. Mohamed Hilal, Director of Student Life visited the exhibition to show their appreciation for the delightful works of art, along with around 2,000 students at AU’s Exhibition Center.
Under the supervision of Ms. Mona Al-Jabali, Senior Officer of Fine Arts Center, Office of Student Life, the emerging artist Abdel Razek, exhibited 69 paintings under the theme "Neon Colors Glow in the Dark" using fluorescent paint on canvas.
His works showed a strong emphasis on black light and experimentations with painting methods based on pigments that react to ultraviolet light to create a three-dimensional effect.
Speaking at the event, Ms. Mona Al-Jabali said: “The goal of this solo- art exhibition is to create a panel for Abdel Razek to portray his creativity and to showcase his life journey through his paintings, revealing his creativity to a wider range of audience. This nurtures his talent and allows him to harness his artistic skills.”
